But Kamal Amrohi is already married and his wife is Meena Kumari. Madhubala wants Kamal Amrohi to divorce Meena Kumari. Reports said that when Meena Kumari learned about her husband’s relationship with Madhubala, she wanted to beat the actress with slippers and even hit her.
Meena Kumari’s personal life is always full of sadness and controversy. In February 1952, Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi got married secretly at a simple Niqah ceremony. They kept the marriage secret because Kamal Amrohi was married and had an ex-wife with three children.
Despite getting married for love, Meena Kumari’s life is not rose. She was reportedly affected by physical abuse and infidelity in her marriage. Meena Kumari’s personal life is so effective that after she separated from Kamal Amrohi in 1964, she turned to alcohol for comfort.
Madhubala, on the other hand, is also a victim of a lonely marriage life. The superstar married Kishore Kumar in 1960, but their marriage was never accepted by Madhubala’s family. According to Madhubala’s sister Madhu, Kishore Kumar left her when she knew she was sick and said he could not take care of her. Madhubala sadly died on February 23, 1969.
