Maharashtra wins ‘April Fool Government’: aaditya thackeray

Mumbai:Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray slammed Maharashtra’s state government on Tuesday for calling it “April Fools’ Government” because they misled the public’s misleading of various commitments, especially the promises with farmers’ loan exemptions and the “Ladki Bahin” (beloved sister) plan. He also criticized the proposal to introduce user fees for waste management services in Mumbai, calling it “Adani tax”.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders mentioned a recent statement from Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said the state government does not intend to announce any waiver of loans for farmers, each government has a name. Many of these false promises. ”

Mr Thackeray claimed that former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had announced at an election campaign rally that he would provide loan exemptions to farmers. “This government was elected as etiquette because of the Election Commission and continued to deceive the people of the country,” he said.

The leader of Shiv Sena (UBT) further announced that his party would oppose the proposal to charge Mumbaikars for user fees and called on ordinary people to join them. He claimed that in order to clean up Deonar’s dump and hand it over to the Adani Group, user fees will be charged.

Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani announced the move to introduce SWM user fees in a budget proposed in February. Under the proposed structure, residential units with a building area of less than 50 m2 will be charged Rs 100 per month, and Rs 500 per month for an area between 50 m2 and 300 m2, while any residential unit above 500 m2 will have to pay Rs 1,000 per month.

According to its classification, hotels and restaurants will cost between Rs 1,500 and Rs 7,500, while clinics and pharmacies will cost between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000, depending on their bed capacity. Commercial venues like small shops will have to pay Rs 500, while banquets and public halls will have to pay Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500 depending on their capacity. People can submit objections or suggestions to the proposal on the BMC website on May 31.

When our party ruled the BMC, we exempted property taxes on homes up to 500 square feet, and the government wanted to charge user fees for Adani’s interests. The Adani Group has asked the government to clean the Deonar dumping ground location and then hand it over to the group. Now, the dumping land is paid 3,000 crore and the liability of 3,000 crore will be charged and the income of ordinary people will be charged.
