Maheshwaram Medical College Locks Membership Fees Stack

Hyderabad: Maheshwaram Government Medical College students and faculty arrived at the Gates padlock and logged into the nameplate on Tuesday. The academy was operated at the Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology in Rangareddy District, and the owner of the building was suddenly closed after the alleged rental dues remained unpaid.

The problem was later solved, which Dr. B. Triveni described as a minor misunderstanding that had been resolved and confirmed that the university was functioning properly.

Medical school staff said the building lacked basic facilities even before this and the closure further undermined academic work.

Videos of the site are circulating widely on social media, showing locked doors and distressed faculty. Management at Bharat Academy said they had no choice but to seal the home after the institution failed to pay the rent.

A brief clip also attracted teachers, pointing out that the infrastructure is not qualified and therefore it is difficult to carry out the course. “We are already struggling,” said a lecturer at the medical school, which started operating the last academic year.

Social media users tagged public representatives including Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and State BJP President and Trade Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and asked for intervention. These positions require immediate action to clear dues or relocation of the university to a functional facility.

Opposition leaders blame the government situation, while BRS MLA Sabitha Reddy criticized Congress. In an article on social media, she tagged the Chief Minister’s Office and wrote: “KCR has issued an order to establish a government medical school for Rs 17.6 crore …just justice should be given to students and people in the region.”
