Malegaon’s Superboys becomes the only Indian movie to have a place in Letterboxd’s Top 50 in 2025!
“Malegaon’s Super Boy” really won the hearts of the audience. The film is the true story of Nasir Sheikh and his friends – ancestral scholars from the small town of Malegaon who dare to create their own world of cinema. When the film received comments from lasers, it also gained great love from the audience. Now, it has gained a place in Letterboxd’s Top 50 Movies of 2025.
Malegaon’s Superboys scored 3.8, earning 23rd place on the list, proudly becoming an Indian movie among international champions. This marks another milestone in the film’s outstanding journey. It also debuted in the world premiere part of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival Gala program.
Superboys of Amazon MGM original version of Malegaon, produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, are produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
