Man booked for posing as Swiggy employee and cheating student

Cybercrime police in the Whitefield division are looking for someone to pose and seek student data from 17 universities to provide jobs with excuses.
According to a complaint by Swiggy’s manager N. Harshith, police FIRed the defendant identified as Vikram Kumar Singh.
According to the complaint, the defendants, as representatives of Swiggy, wrote to 17 private universities, including several private universities in the city, providing jobs for students. The email also asked university authorities to share detailed information about students interested in working in the company and forming WhatsApp groups with these students. Cheat is revealed when the city-based Christian university calls the company to cross the claims and finds there is no such plan.
Police suspect the defendant tried to trick the college to deceive the students of the fraudsters and make money on the excuse of providing jobs. The complainant also shared the number of contacts he shared with the university management of Vikram Kumar Singh to create WhatsApp team and become its administrator.
