Man dies after alleged acid attack on a woman in Casaragold

A 34-year-old man was found dead for hours after an alleged acidic attack on a woman.

Ratheesh of Campolle allegedly attacked Sindhu Mol, 34, the owner of a high-end store where the acid is sour.

Sindhu, who suffered severe burns, is receiving treatment at the Kannur Government Medical College Hospital. Hospital authorities said she was not in danger.

After the alleged attack, Ratheesh reportedly fled the scene and was later found hanging. According to police, Ratheesh and Sindhu are neighbors.
