Man found death in Bangalore, suspected of being harassment by currency machines

A 34-year-old man from Andrahalli died of suicide under the jurisdiction of Byadarahalli Police due to harassment by donors, city police said Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Purushotham and was found dead in his residence, living with his wife and son. Purushotham, formerly an automatic motorcycle driver, later joined a private company, according to police officials. However, he has lost his job in the past few months due to health problems.

According to reports, the death notes collected by the police from the scene mentioned the names of the money lent to him by four people. In the note, Purushotham allegedly accused them of forcing him to repay the money, which police suspected could have prompted him to take an extreme step.

Police from Byadarahalli visited the site and registered a case. “According to the complaint and suicide note, we have registered a case and conducted an investigation. Further actions will be initiated based on the findings.” Further investigation is underway.
