Both youngsters made their impressive sport and their impressive sport was recognized by the academy staff who decided which players should win the award.

College Dean Nick Cox said of the Grocery: “We are delighted to recognize Harry’s hard work and achievements through this award.

“Since joining the club, he has shown adaptability, a new environment and a ability to become a person and player. Harry has performed well in the club and club and has therefore spent some time on his first team in 2023/24.

“Harry represented the Under-18 Youth Cup in the League and FA Cup this season, enjoyed experience in the European Youth League under 19 (UEFA) Youth League under 19, and played for the League and EFL trophy at 21.

After Ethan Wheatley, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho, Amass won the coveted Jimmy Murphy Player of the Year award, and he now hopes to consolidate his place in the first team.

Cox added Fredricson: “Tyler showed a wonderful quality of perseverance, determination and patience to get first-team opportunities this season.

“Since he first joined our preliminaries, when you add it to his quality, you get a very impressive young footballer. Tyler plays our youth team in various competitions at two different ages and always represents the club by distinction.

“Like many of our players this season, his performance in the Under 21 makes him part of the senior training group. We are very proud of the players’ performance, but when they show enough training to earn the trust of the manager, like Taylor did.”
