Mandia lawmakers set up eight donation awards in the name of Sm Krishna

Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy, lawmaker and worshippers of the late Sm Krishna, donated Rs 4.5 lakh to establish a corpus to award eight donation awards to people who have performed well in different fields such as agriculture, literature, law and art. Interest earned from the amount will be used to award the award.

Mr. Cheluvarayanaswamy, also the Minister of the Mandya Regional Head, has donated Rs 1 million, which will be used to award the progressive farmers identified by the University of Agricultural Sciences of Bengaluru University and the Best Social Service Personnel Award identified by Karnataka Sangha, Mandya.

Maddur MLA KM Uday contributed Rs 1 million and it will be used to present awards to two gold medal students at the University of Mysore. Malavalli MLA and Karnataka State Pollution Control Commission Chairman PM Narendra Swamy have awarded a gold medal student at the Law University, while Ab Ramesh MLA, MLA and CESC Chairman and CESC Chairman donated Rs 5 lakh to the award for Rs 5 lakh.

Mandya MLA Ravikumar Ganiga has donated Rs 5 lakh to gold medal students at Mandya Agricultural University, while Venkataramana Gowda (“Star” Chandru) has donated Rs 5 lakh to Kannada Sahitya Sahitya Parishat. The best student of Ramakrishna Ashram in Mysuru, donated Rs 5 lakh on behalf of Dinesh Guli Gowda in Mandya district.
