DMK’s Padmanabhapuram Mla T. Mano Thangaraj was sworn in and was rejoined by Governor RN Ravi, who was sworn in at Raj Bhavan on Monday.

Mr. Thangaraj will take over as Minister of Milk and Dairy Development, held by RS Rajakannappan, who now owns the forest and Khadi Portfolio, earlier held by K. Ponmudy.

Mr. Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister of Water Resources R. Duraimurugan, Minister of Municipal Administration KN Nehru, Minister of Rural Development I. Periyasamy I. Periyasamy, Minister of Public Works Ev Velu, S. Rajesh Kumar of the Assembly Assembly and Chief Secretary N. Murugugananandam were all present.

The fact that Mr Stalin and Mr Ravi met each other for the first time since the Supreme Court’s judgment is also important. The Supreme Court ruled that the latter considered the decision to retain 10 bills to be “unconstitutional”, prompting the DMK to declare a major victory against the governor.

Both leaders exchanged joy.

Reasons for the reorganization

The Chief Minister re-blocked the cabinet after Mr. Ponmudy and State Electric, ban and excise tax V. Senthilbalaji resigned on Sunday.

Although the Madras High Court ruled that Mr. Pommoody made derogatory remarks about Savisism and Vishnaviism, the Supreme Court made it clear that Mr. Southwest Diraghi had to choose between the position of minister and his freedom.

Mr. Thangaraj previously held an information technology portfolio, which is now owned by Mr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan.
