Hyderabad: Gachibowli police issued a notice to IAS official Smita Sabharwal to republish images related to Kancha Gachibowli land issues at the University of Hyderabad (UOH). Although the notice was issued on April 12, it was revealed only on Wednesday.
According to Gachibowli inspector MD Habubullah Khan, the notification was uploaded as a Twitter handle called Hi Hyderabad after she reposted Ghibli-style images. The image shows the nearest trees, uploaded on March 31.
Police have not disclosed the basis of the notice they have served or the date she is asking for. “We have called upon her to ask questions only after she has provided us with a specific date,” the inspector said.
The effort to connect with Smita Sabrawal was futile.
