Marrying Pak Woman after nodding from CRPF: Fire Jawan

Check mu: Hours after CRPF cavalry Munir Ahmed was fired for “covering” his marriage to Pakistani women, he said he promoted nearly a month's marriage after obtaining permission from the troops headquarters last year. “I'm sure I'm getting justice.”
Central Reserve Police Force dismissed the marriage to Pakistani woman Minal Khan and deliberately hid her outside the validity of the visa, saying his actions were harmful to national security.

“I initially learned about my firing through media reports. I quickly received a letter from the CRPF to inform me of the firing, which shocked me and my family as I have been seeking and getting my permission to marry a Pakistani woman from the headquarters,” Ahmad told PTI by phone at his home on Saturday.

Ahmed's marriage to Khan was revealed, in India, demanding that the Pakistan National Team leave the country as part of diplomatic measures taken in the Pahargam terrorist attack, with 26 people killed.

Khan entered India through the Wagah-Attari border on February 28, and her short-term visa ended on March 22. However, the High Court was deported and she is currently staying at Ahmed's Chamu residence.

“I published my first letter on December 31, 2022, informing me of my desire to marry a Pakistani national and asking me to complete formalities such as a closed passport, a marriage card and a copy of the affidavit.

“I submitted the affidavit through the proper channels as well as the affidavits of my parents, Salpanchi and members of the Regional Development Commission and finally started at headquarters on April 30, 2024,” he said.

The CRPF soldier said he applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC), but he was told that there were no provisions available and that he had completed the formalities by informing the government of his marriage to a foreign national.

“On May 24 last year, we got married online via video call. I then submitted my marriage pictures to my 72nd Battalion, 'Nikkah's paper and marriage certificate.

“When she first came on February 28 when she was on her 15-day visa, we applied for a long-term visa in March and completed the necessary formalities including interviews,” he said.

Ahmed said he re-performed his duties at the end of his vacation and was asked to report at the battalion headquarters in Sunderbani on March 25, but on March 27, “I submitted a transfer order and issued a transfer order in Madhya Pradesh’s 41st Battalion in Madhya Pradesh without providing a 15-day mandatory joining period.

“I got a copy of the order and immediately breathed a sigh of relief, had no choice but to join my duty in Bhopal on March 29. I faced an interview with the commander, his deputy and his agent who got there, also completed the documentation process and clearly mentioned my marriage to Pakistani women.”

CRPF soldiers said he will move out of the court in the next few days to challenge his sacking.

“I hope to get justice from the court,” he said.
