Mastodon registered Canadian guitarist Nick Johnston leaves Brent Hinds │Hit loud!

Mastodon launched the spring tour in Chesterfield, Michigan last night (May 8), a few weeks to look forward to for those who are second guitarists, replacing the founding guitarist Brent Hinds, who announced March departure from the band Back Back.
Youtuber Ben Eller took the position a few months ago when Mastodon held the Destiny Festival of Tools in the Dominican Republic, but a strange face joined the factory stage – although his face might be more familiar with this side of the border.
The band invited Rockwood, born Toronto-born Toronto guitarist and songwriter Nick Johnston, who played the role along with Coheed and Coheed and Cobbria. He is primarily a solo artist, releasing six instrumental rock albums between 2011 and 2024, but the musician has also previously toured with Plini and David Maxim Micic.
Interestingly, Johnston also released his own signature guitar through Schecter in 2016 for other artists (including Peripheral, another opening ceremony for Coheed and Cambria Tour, including performances from the periphery, including song records from other artists).
