Forbes Billionaire List 2025: SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk occupied the Forbes World Billionaire List in 2025. The 53-year-old billionaire has a net worth of $342 billion, according to the magazine. He has surpassed LVMH’s Bernard Arnault, who fell to fifth place. The United States has the largest number of billionaires with 902 people, followed by China (including Hong Kong), with 516 billionaires; India has 205 billionaires. All these billionaires have a combined wealth of $16.1 trillion, $2 trillion more than in 2024. The list shows that the world has 3028 billionaires, an increase of 24.7 billion compared to last year. Indian billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani are also part of the list.
Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, is ranked in the top ten on the famous list. Now, he ranks 18th with a net worth of $92.5 billion. Gautam Adani ranks 28th in the world with a net worth of US$56.3 billion. In addition, Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg climbed to second place for the first time, with a net worth of $216 billion. He has surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is now third and Oracle’s Larry Ellison is fourth.
