Chief AIG wins Japan Endoscope Award

Hyderabad: Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of the AIG Hospital, presented the “Legend of Endoscopy” award by Japanese gastroenterologists in recognition of his lifelong contribution to the progress of gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy.

The award was presented by Dr. Haruhiro Inoue, Professor and Chairman of Showa University Koto Toyosu Hospital in Tokyo, and President of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology Endoscope and Professor HiriShima University Emeritus, Hirshima University.

The treatment took place during the live broadcast of the global endoscopy event in Tokyo, where Dr. Reddy performed a live demonstration of complex endoscopy. He demonstrates the use of cutting-edge technologies to manage difficult bile and pancreatic stones and shares insights into evolving tools and techniques that enhance safety and accuracy during this complex GI endoscopy.
