Minister stones MSME facilities of Rs 40 crore in Sri city

MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas studied a model while visiting the Sri City industrial area in Tirupati district on Wednesday. Satyavedu Mla K. Adimulam and Sri City MD Ravindra Sannareddy can be seen.

Kondapalli Srinivas’s MSME, SERP and NRI relations ministers attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the MSME facility of Gupta Oxygen Private Limited held in Sri city on Wednesday.

The facility, scheduled to be commissioned in October 2025, will generate more than 50 direct jobs under the “Dewgas” brand and manufacture refrigerants and industrial gases, catering to areas such as the HVAC and the automotive industry. The company’s clients include Godrej, Blue Star, Whirlpool and Indian Railways.

Mr. Srinivas is accompanied by Anand Gupta, Managing Director (MD) and CEO of the company, and MD Ravindra Sannarddy of Sri City. Previously, Mr. Sannareddy warmly welcomed the minister, who gave a speech on the overview of world-class infrastructure and rapid growth in Sri City.

He explained: “The large number of industries in Sri City are MSMEs, which meaningfully contributes meaningfully to job creation, innovation and supply chain strength. They have created a balanced, inclusive manufacturing ecosystem with global companies to grow.”

The minister also showed a variety of products produced in Sri City, including electronics, auto parts, engineering products, fast-moving consumer goods and food products.

On visiting the campus, Mr. Srinivas praised the clean and green environment, which he called “a role model for empowering and inclusive growth” besides the massive employment of local rural women.

The Minister explained that when interacting with the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of various departments, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision for the “Viksit Andhra Pradesh” of industrial development by 2047. Therefore, our focus is on balanced growth, entrepreneurship support, skills development, skills development, and higher project execution. He guaranteed strong support for logistics infrastructure and quickly resolved industry problems.
