MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao says Vizag is ready to become a “city center”

Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao of the Telugu Party said the state government is actively working to transform Visakhapatnam into a “city center”.

Mr Srinivasa Rao told the media after visiting the “Vizag movie Nagar Center” on Saturday on Timmapuram: “If the infrastructure needed is created, the actors and directors will look forward to filming in Vizag.”

Mr Srinivasa Rao said prominent producers such as Allu Aravind expressed interest in setting up studios in Visakhapatnam. Although the land had been allocated to the film industry near Thotlakonda earlier, some have raised certain objections. “After discussions with Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, the alternative locations are expected to be allocated,” he said.
