Kerala to launch operations in June

Air Kerala, a low-cost air service provider, is an ambitious business of non-resident Keralites, opened its headquarters in Operation Kochi on Tuesday ahead of the service scheduled to launch in June, connecting smaller cities in southern South India with metropolitan cities.
Industry Minister P. Rajeeve unveiled the headquarters of Aluva in the presence of MP Hibi Eden.
Kerala Airlines Chairman Afi Ahmed said airline services companies want to operate economic services. In addition to leasing five aircraft, the company plans to own its own aircraft in the future.
He said the new company and its services will have a positive impact on Kerala’s economy, employment and tourism.
