Deepak Tijori played supporting roles in Aashiqui, Khiladi, Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Ghulam, Ghulam, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Baadshah in the 1990s. The actor has now become a filmmaker, although none of his directed films have been successful at the box office.

Before his career in the Hindi film industry began, Deepak Tijori worked as a front desk manager at the Searock Hotel in Mumbai. He sat outside the production company’s office and had multiple auditions. During his struggling phase, Deepak lost the 1989 musical romantic drama Maine Pyar Kiya, a breakthrough film by Salman Khan.

“Salman Khan and I both attended pyar kiya in Maine. I had the name on the screen and discussed how they wanted to start me.”

Tijori ended up performing in the 1990 musical Aashiqui, which also marked the debut of its leading couple Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. The actor continued to play many supporting roles in the 1990s but never became a leading star. Pehla Nasha was his first film as a leading hero and he was the main failure at the box office.

Deepak played Aamir Khan’s evil rival in the 1992 adult sports drama directed by Mansoor Khan. In the 1994 romantic comedy Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, led by Kundan Shah, he stole Shah Rukh Khan’s love and married the heroine Suchitra Krishnamurthy in the climax.

After playing multiple side characters, the actor turned in direction with a porn comedy show! In 2003. Deepak then plays some other haunting movies like fareb, khamoshh… Khauff Ki Raat, Tom, Dick and Harry, Fox and Do Lafzon Ki Ki Kahani. His last release was 2024 Thriller Pipppsy, his headlines and leadership. He also participated in the first season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss in 2006. The show was hosted by Arshad Warsi and won by his Aashiqui co-star Rahul Roy.
