South Korean influencers reappeared the Dosa trend of Keerthy Suresh; netizens responded that “even Koreans are obsessed with dosa”

A viral video featuring Korean women has attracted attention as she recreates the popular DOSA trend inspired by Keerthy. In the clip, she is seen siping a plate of Dosa at a local South Indian restaurant, announcing her “favorite” dish.

Keerthy Suresh’s love frolicking to Dosas is thanks to the creativity of music producers and YouTuber Yashraj Mukhate. The South Indian actress once humorously chose dosas over other food options, showing her firmness in South Indian cuisine. Mukhate transforms the cut into a quirky track, combining Keerthy’s humorous reaction with the rhythm of his signature rap style and adding music and lyrics to create a pleasing parody. Now, the trend has been brought to Korea by a social media influencer.

Korean woman Jenna recreates the popular DOSA trend inspired by Keerthy. In the clip, she is seen siping a plate of Dosa at a local South Indian restaurant, announcing her “favorite” dish. The video shows Jenna walking through the streets, scattering saris and visiting the fruit shop before finally reaching the restaurant’s dosa addicted to the crispy crusty. Her love for Dosa challenges the common perception that Koreans only enjoy North Indian cuisine and curry.

Jenna shared the video, writing enthusiastically: “If you like Dosa, raise your hand! South Indian dishes are a must-try! Korean friends, keep using it!” She also added a humorous title: “Even Koreans are obsessed with dosa.”

Netizens were very happy, filled with comments of surprise and entertainment. One user agreed: “@jennas_korea Indeed, dosa is soul food – you will feel satisfied after eating it!” Another user joked: “Finally, a Korean who loves dosa! Everyone thinks only North Indian food exists, while Koreans only love curry.” The third user just said: “The power of dosa”.

The internet is filled with videos celebrating cross-cultural food appreciation, and the North Korean love for South Indian dosas adds fascinating aspects to the trend, highlighting how food bridges can geographically divide and unite people around the globe.
