Nusli Wadia is the chairman of Wadia Group, which exists in multiple fields. Group companies include Britannia Industrial Company and home textile company Mumbai Dyeing. The billionaire also set up an airline called Go First. It began operations in 2005. However, a few years later, the airline was unable to make a profit. Therefore, the billionaire declared bankruptcy in 2023. However, this does not affect Wadia's billionaire status. According to Forbes, he still has a net worth of $5.5 billion or Rs 4.6517 crore. In September 2024, Wadia sold a 10-acre land in Mumbai for $130 million.
