Two identical Australian twins narrate the horrible moments of their mother facing each other with an alleged gunman – in a strange TV interview, they simultaneously provide the same, word explanation.

The gunman allegedly caused a crash on the Bruce Expressway in Queensland, killing a woman, and then shot a good Samaritan during a hijacking craze while escaping the scene.

Twins Bridgette and Paula Powers witnessed the chaos firsthand, and their surreal interviews – who answered reporters’ questions in unison – spread quickly.

The pair described how their mother was eager to help the crash victim’s mother when they suddenly found themselves facing alleged gunmen emerging from the wreckage.

The man allegedly left with a gun-armed Porsche and shot a driver of Ssangyong Rexton, who stopped to help.

Police said he shot the 62-year-old man after the argument and then stole his Rexton.

The Good Samaritans were taken to the hospital when his car was found crashing in nearby Landsborough about 20 minutes later.

The 41-year-old Tewantin man is charged with 15 offences and his affairs will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
