Who is Anushree Sachan?
Anushri Sachan (26) took the test with the Air 220 in her fourth attempt. She is a chemistry graduate from IIT-Bombay, where she attended the City Montessori School on Kanpur Road until school and completed Level 12 at Jay Public School in Kota.
Anushree’s family background
The strong support she received at home was greatly helped on Anushri’s path. Her family provided her with a nurturing environment that nurtures her academic pursuits. Her father worked as a department engineer at BSNL, while her mother, housewife provided unwavering support. Anushree’s family also includes a younger brother who is currently participating in the B.Tech program at IIT Guwahati.
Change the city to jee
Anushree began her early education by paying tribute from Lucknow. Recognizing the need for key preparation, she moved to Kota to prepare for the JEE exam. Her academic atmosphere in the city has greatly influenced her. Initially, she lived in the hotel, but her family soon joined Kota with her brother and mother, first relocating, then her father.
Success after four failures
Anushri’s academic achievements include the liquidation of JEE Advanced in 2017, followed by a Bachelor of Chemistry (BS). After four attempts, Sachan has achieved success in the 2024 UPSC CSE. She faced setbacks and failed to clear the preliminary rounds in 2021 and 2023, but she persisted. In 2022, she finished 633rd in the UPSC exam. However, driven by ambition, she aims to be higher, and with the continued support of her family, she has improved her ranking to No. 220 in the 2024 exam.
Leave a high-paying job for UPSC
Anushri Sachan received a research offer from the Technical University of Munich, Germany after completing her studies at IIT, although she was unable to pursue this due to COVID-19. She also received a job as a bank professional bank, but she chose not to accept it because her ambitions were in the civil service.
How did she prepare for the UPSC exam?
After two failed attempts, Anushri is committed to extensive practice of previous exam questions. She also focused on answer writing and participated in the test series. In an interview, she emphasized the important role of practice in her ever-increasing hierarchy and emphasized that discipline is the most critical factor in civil service exam preparation. She stressed the importance of consistent research, maintaining a 10-hour daily study schedule even on days of less motivation.
What makes Anushri focus?
Anushri’s thalamus interview, sharing what makes her contaminated, said: “Playing as badminton helped me release stress and stay focused. My success is based on three values: discipline, patience, and consistency.”
