Yuzvendra Chahal wrote a dramatic turnaround at the Punjab Kings, who claimed his second IPL hat trick and the first game of the season, with the Chennai Super Kings collapsing from a promising position to 190. The strike of the leg spinner caused a huge power shift, with Punjab taking only six wickets in 11 goals to end CSK’s 19 innings.
The final blow began on the 19th, when Chahal rejected the continuous delivery of Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj and Noor Ahmad. Hooda was caught by Priyansh Arya at Point, Kamboj was beaten by a quick delivery of legs falling, and Noor hit Marco Jansen in Long-Off’s Marco Jansen – completing a hat trick and a compelling celebration.
