MGU offers online courses as well as regular courses

Now students can learn committee-approved online courses offered by Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) as well as regular programs. This marks the first instance of the state’s introduction of a dual degree system for students in the UGC Directive.

A group meeting held here on Wednesday decided to implement the decision of the University Academic Committee in this regard. Currently, students at universities and colleges in the state are currently taking regular courses and can take advantage of this opportunity.

Students taking regular courses will receive a 40% scholarship in the university’s online undergraduate and graduate programs. Additional scholarships will be considered for graduate students with disabilities online. Currently, there are 20% scholarships for people who belong to the pre-determined caste and pre-determined tribes.

The University’s Distance and Online Education Center begins online courses in January 2022. The university is the only university in the state that offers online courses. These programs are MCOM, MBA, MA English and BCOM (Honors).

Registration for the January 2025 conference admission will end on March 31. The July 2025 conference that begins in April also includes the BBA (Honors), BA Political Science (Honors) and MA Economics Program.
