MHA directs officials to peddler drugs online tags

The Ministry of the Interior (MHA) directs officials from various departments to focus on online trade and cargo services to check the smuggling of narcotic drugs, marijuana and other substances.
Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan presided over the top meeting with the Chief Secretary (CSS), the Chief of Police (DGP), the Chief of the Anesthesiology Bureau (NCB) (DGPS), the Tax Intelligence Bureau (DRI) Bureau and the police on Thursday.

Officials attending the meeting said the meeting discussed examining drug smuggling, coordination among various departments, identifying children who are addicted to drugs and Ganga, and inspiring students and youth to adverse effects on drugs.
The union home secretary directed Andhra Pradesh officials to focus on identifying national and international drug vendors and their methods of committing crimes, maintaining vigilance in online marketing and demand for all types of drugs.

Mr. Govind Mohan asked the Drug Control Administration (DCA) to retain labels for NRX drugs in pharmacies (not for sale).
Officials from the state’s elite anti-drug enforcement organization (EAGLE) have been asked to take steps to identify vulnerable groups and children who are addicted to drugs.
