Minister Puducherry offers awards to Karaikal’s social workers

Puducherry Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Prn Thirumurugan opened a senior home on Monday in Karaikal Muthiyor Illam, founded at Kottucherry’s Aid India Foundation.

The facility is designed to support poor and abandoned older people. Mr. Thirumurgan interacted with residents, visited the artifacts exhibition and appreciated the musical performances of the visually damaged artists.

During the event, the Foundation paid tribute to several people to social service. Among the people of honor is Pajancoa & Ri Associate Professor S. Anand Kumar recognized for his collaboration with farmers and students. Babu Gopalakrishnan (Annai Ambulance Service), M. Mohan (Udhavum Karangal), P. Parthiban (Porali Iyakkam), M. Mahadevan, Rajeswari, Abdul Rahim, Abdul Rahim and Daniel are other occasions.
