Minister Sandhyarani holds talks in the agency district

Visakhapatnam: Tribal Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhyarani has held a meeting with the Special DSC Implementation Committee and Tribal Leaders calling for a special notice to fill the faculty positions in the fifth timetable institution area and along with local tribal candidates.

The meeting discussed the implementation of Article 244, Part X, which is related to the Program and Tribal Areas. In particular, it addresses the need for the implementation of Article 244(1) of Schedule 5 to the Plan Zone and Tribe.

Tribal leaders urged the Tribal Advisory Committee to propose resolutions on tribal welfare and development in these regions.

During the meeting, Rama Rao Dora, representative and convener of AP Adivasi Jac (ASR Region), called for urgent action. He suggested that the laws of the parliament or state legislature could be applied to the institutional areas through the Governor’s notice. They said it could be included in the necessary changes outlined in the schedule provisions.

Dora noted that GO 3 was overturned on technology, “but priority needs to be given to local tribal candidates.”

He urged the government to issue a new directive to ensure that local tribes are considered first in recruitment. The Tribal Society requests that these actions be completed by May 15.

To this end, Sandialani assured the tribe leaders that their demands would be resolved. “Don't be discouraged. The government will stand in the tribe. We will issue another government order that provides the equivalent of line 3.”
