The report, released on March 31, 2025, provides extensive details of the incident, noting that it was due to a long-term property dispute between two long-term property disputes called Ramcharan and Narayan, in the Kaliganj region of Bangladesh.
“On Sunday (March 30), Ramcharan and his son Jhantu Das attacked their cousins Narayan, Giribala and Haradhan Chandra Das in Kaliganj for their axe because of previous hatred for land disputes.”
