MISRI briefly introduces PAR sindoor, PAK policy update

Top government officials, including Foreign Minister Vikram Misri, will introduce a parliamentary group in Monday’s Operation Sindor and other foreign policy developments involving Pakistan. This will be the first briefing by government officials on the parliamentary group after the attack on Pahargam.

The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Standing Committee chaired by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has begun two consecutive days of back-to-back meetings on “current foreign policy developments on India and Pakistan” on Monday.

Many of the MPs formed by the group are part of seven full-party delegations that will travel to 32 countries to predict national consensus in India and the way to combat terrorism. In addition to Tharoor, other members of the 31 members include Ravishankar Prasad and Sudhanshu Trivedi (BJP), Deepender Hooda (Parliament), Abhishek Banerjee (Trinamool Congress), Asaduddin Owaisi (Aimim) (Aimim) and John Brittas (CPIM). The committee called on officials from the Ministry of Defense to work with foreign ministry officials to introduce maritime security and India’s maritime strategy.
Misri, along with Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, introduced the media to the media after the May 7 operation.
