Miss World contestants sees the best Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana held the 72nd Miss World Miss 2025, showing off Hyderabad’s rich heritage. The government promotes tourism and investment. Participants from 109 countries visited cultural sites, historical landmarks, and interacted with local communities.

Cultural Journey

Participants explore the historic Charminar, conduct heritage walks and photograph monuments. They shopped in Laad Bazaar, visited 9 stores and bought traditional bracelets, pearls and decorations.

Temple visit

Nine contestants prayed at the Narasimha Lord Temple in Yadagirigutta, wearing saris and attending Deeparadhana. They visited the Ramappa Temple in Mulugu, famous for its 13th-century architecture. Twenty-two participants visited the Thousand Temples of Hanamkonda and Warangal Fort to learn about the temple’s architecture and the idols of Nandeeshwara.

Handloom industry and community interaction

25 African contestants visited Pochamp to observe the production of IKAT saris and try cotton spins. They admired the fashion show of handloom sari. At Yadagirigutta, they experience traditional rituals, music and dances, getting tattoos from local artists. Beauty Queens loves “Kinnera” and “Dappu” music and interacts with students from Kaloji Kala Kshetram in Warangal.
