Modakondamma Jatara begins at the grand beginning of Paderu

Visakhapatnam: The three-day tribal music festival Modakondamma Jatara began her traditional passion on Sunday in Paderu in the ASR district.
Regional responsible collector MJ Abhishek Gowda, sub-group Shauryaman Patel, local MLA, Matsyarasa Visveswara Raju, and former MLA Giddi Eswari attended the opening ceremony.
At 6 a.m., start from the temple with the idols of God and the sacred objects, arrive at Shatakam Pattu, and then perform the ritual.
In the evening, the carnival atmosphere prevailed in the office of the Padrew Integrated Tribal Development Authority (ITDA). People have witnessed displays of traditional art forms, including the performances of Dimsa and Kommu, speeches from artists from Paderu, Chintur and Rampachodavaram Itdas, as well as students from tribal areas.
Government officials are on the grounds of the Junior College, the Ministry of Information and Public Relations, Integrated Child Development Services (ICD), the Ministry of Agriculture, the Coffee Council and the exhibition booth proposed by Van Dhan Vikas Kendra.
Authorities have established medical camps at temple sites and junior colleges to deal with emergencies. The ICD made special arrangements for nursing mothers at the temple site, and the rural water supply department has set up drinking water booths at 10 locations in the festival venues.
“I was lucky enough to attend Modakondamma Ammavari Jatara, which is part of cultural traditions and national festivals,” said Abhishek Gowda, the responsible collector, while unveiling at the music festival at the Government Junior College.
The celebrations will continue on Monday and Tuesday. A hundred thousand devotees are expected to participate in Modakondamma Jatara from nearby areas and states.
