Rajnath Singh demands low-cost high-tech solutions for troops

“It is necessary to develop low-cost high-tech solutions and enhance the combat capability of the armed forces. Our forces must not only keep up with technological change, but also lead it,” the minister said at a convening ceremony at the Defense Services Academy (DSSC) on Thursday in Wellington on Thursday.
Speaking with armed forces officials in India and friendly countries, the minister said it is important to be ready for the future in the current evolving security environment, where cyber, space and information are as effective as conventional operations.
“The battlefields of tomorrow will need leaders who can adapt to unforeseen circumstances, leverage technological benefits and come up with innovative solutions,” he said.
Global geopolitics reflects an important hub for prioritizing national security, a technological tsunami that swept the global landscape and accelerated innovation, Singh said. He added that the impact of technological innovation on the battlefield is breathtaking.
“Drones have actually become a new sector in the Ukrainian-Russia conflict, if not transformative science…” he said.
