More than 1,300 people attended Savirada Vachana as part of the Basava Jayanthi program

Savirada Vachana, a show of more than 1,300 people to Basavanna’s Vachanas, received an impressive response at Shivamogga on Friday night.

The 38 Vachanas from the 12th-century social reformer Basavanna, under the guidance of 13 music teachers and singers, are the 38-person Basavanna of the 12th-century social reformer Basavanna.

The program was organized by the Basava Jayanthi Celebration Committee, under the guidance of Mallikarjun Murugharajendra Swamy and Basava Marulasidda Swamy in Basava Kalmatha in Shivamogga.

Including Nagaraj Guruguha, Janardhana (Janni), K. A team of expert singers, including Yuvaraj, Mallige Sudhir and Humayun Harlapur, took the lead and conducted several trainings for those who volunteered to register for the program. Initially, organizers wanted to participate in 1,000 singers. But there are more voluntary participation. Finally, over 1,300 people, including students, seniors, private sector employees, teachers and housewives, introduced Vachanas in a song written by famous singer and music director C. Ashwath.

Organizers have established a special stage to accommodate singers. Before presenting each song, Basava Marulasidda Swamy introduced the importance of vachana to the audience.

He added that Mallikarjun Murugharajendra Swamy expressed happiness in the concept and organization of the program in this speech, and that the message of Vachanas reached a larger crowd.

Dhananjay Sarji of the MLC and the Organizing Committee Treasurer said the program is a record of all kinds. No one else gathered to showcase Vakanas in Basavana. He thanked the people of Shivamogga for gathering a lot to witness the plan.

Avinash Kavi of Bellagarve gave a special speech on Vachanas. Former MLC S. Rudre Gowda, Shivamogga Lok Sabha member Raghavendra, legislator Sn Channabasappa, DS Arun and others attended the meeting.
