From safe arrangements for candidates to the third floor of the examination hall to recording attendance using biometric devices and ensuring CCTV surveillance, the state government has made detailed arrangements for the National Qualification and Admission Examination (UG)-2025-2025 (May 4, 2025).

The test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBB, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS.

A total of 72,507 candidates were tested in Telangana and will be conducted at 190 examination centers across the state from 2pm to 5pm.

Officials said candidates will be allowed to enter the center starting at 11 a.m. and candidates will not be allowed after 1.30 p.m., given the entry rules, which include extensive and mandatory approval of candidates and review of their identification and admission cards.

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao conducted a review of the center on Saturday on Friday's arrangements and final inspections by regional collectors and police stations, highlighting the need to conduct the tests in a smooth and transparent manner.

According to the NTA rules, candidates are only allowed to carry an admission card with photos, another photo used on the attendance form, valid original identity, and a postcard-sized color photo with a white background to paste on the proforma.

Those items or subjects wearing faith must be reported at the center at least two hours before the last report time. It also has dress codes – no heavy clothes, long sleeves, and no shoes.

In Hyderabad, 26,609 candidates have registered for the test and will be conducted in 62 examination centres. In the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, 13 examination centers will see attendance of 4,336 registered candidates.

Officials in various police jurisdictions in the state have issued a ban order under S.163 of the BNSS (formerly IPC S.144), prohibiting people's gatherings within 200 meters, and operating in the operation of the optoelectronic center and the Internet cafe at the 100-meter inspection center.
