What an ugly ugly ugliness in Ajith Kumar’s second-biggest start, lagging behind the 2022 action thriller Valimai.

The Tamil action comedy “What Ugly Ugly” headlined by Ajith Kumar and was released in the cinema on April 10 on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Directed by Adhik Ravicandran, the film is based on retired gangster AK aka Red Dragon who returns to his violent ways when his son is wrongly arrested.

Bad Bad Ugly scored the second biggest start in Ajith Kumar as it collected Rs 2.925 crore in India and lagged behind 2022 action thriller Valimai, which cast Rs 3.17 crore on the first day of release. According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, the latest version fell by more than 50% on the second day of its release and made Rs 13,500 crore on Friday, April 11. This will reach a two-day net domestic value of Rs 4,275 crore.

In addition to Ajith Kumar, the Ugly starred in Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, and Sunil Sayaji Shinde as guest stars.

Director Adhik Ravicandran is funded by Mythri filmmakers. Interestingly, another movie from the same production company was released on April 10 – Jaat. The Hindi action was exciting, led by sunny Sunny Deol and led by Telugu film producer Gopichand Malineni in Bollywood’s debut, earning Rs 950 crore on opening day.
