The Mumbai Indians ended DC’s streak by defeating the Delhi Capital in IPL 2025. Hardik Pandya’s team won with 12 runs, earning their second win of the season and ranked seventh in the standings.

The Mumbai Indians (MI) ended the Delhi Capital (DC) winning streak in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and held an exciting match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 13. Hardik Pandya’s team fought bravely and won 12 victories, only earning the second win of the season after six games and rising to seventh place in the standings.

The match gave Karun Nair a half-century flash in just 22 delivery, reaching 89 runs before being rejected by Michel Santner. Deepak Chahar evacuated Jake Fraser-McGurk in the first delivery of the Delhi Capitals innings to get the host’s back foot hit. Abishek Porel provided support to Nair and was fired to 33.

Tilak Verma led the Mumbai Indians’ charges with a top score of 59 points as their total against the Delhi Capitals was 205/5. Ryan Rickelton, Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir also contributed with steady results, laying a solid foundation for the MI bureau. Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav stand out, and as top bowlers each have two wickets to help win.

The capital seemed to be in command position, scoring 87 goals in the last 59 goals, making itself a favorite. But as the Delhi Capital (DC) continues to lose its wicket regularly, the Mumbai Indians (MI) made a stunning comeback. Despite being 119 at one time, the host found himself in 160 in 32 balls, six out of six, while Karn Sharma broke the partnership by firing Porel.

Just as Nair seemed to advance in his first IPL century, Mitchell Santner sent out a sharp Turner, removing his stump. Nevertheless, Nair scored the highest IPL score of 89 out of 40 balls, including 12 fours and five sixes. Axar Patel fell to the forefront of Bumrah, and Tristan Stubbs was caught by Naman.

KL Rahul, who recently beaten 93 points against Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB), was rejected 15 times by Karn Sharma. The game took 42 runs in the last four games and this game came to an exciting conclusion.

Vipraj needed 39 shots, hit Santner in 18 balls, hitting Santner before the New Zealand Spinner won DC Batsman’s wicket to redeem himself. Ashutosh Sharma then hit Bumrah in the penultimate penultimate, continual boundaries, reducing the target from 9 balls to 15.

Unfortunately, Ashutosh ran out, causing a major blow to the capital. In fact, Washington, D.C. lost the last three wickets to knock out the game and was beaten 193 in 19 games. The match was made with Santner directly hitting Mohit Sharma and won the MI.
