Mumbai sees lightning broadcast as an orange orange alarm from IMD

The Mumbai Karls can foresee hot heat as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted thunder therapy and thunderbolts in thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday. The department also issued an orange alert for several parts of Maharashtra on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the highest temperature in Mumbai was 33-34 degrees Celsius.

“The temperature will drop slightly. Thunder may be late Tuesday evening, while Wednesday’s thunderstorm accompanied by strong winds in the suburbs can bring relief to Mumbaikars,” IMD Mumbai director Shubhangi Bhute told PTI.
The humidity levels remained high, exceeding 80% on Tuesday, she added.

Bhute explains the effects of wind direction, “Humidity depends on the wind direction. If the wind is north or east, they maintain all pollution, as well as the moisture and dust particles of the smoke, which leads to the visibility of the smoke. The city was shrouded in smoke this morning.”

With the possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds, residents are advised to stay up to date in the weather alerts and take necessary precautions.
