Hyderabad:Miyamoto police booked taxi driver Bandaru Lanka Mahesh after they allegedly murdered his wife Sridevi and mother-in-law K. Manga on Tuesday after an argument at their residence in Janapriyanagar. Investigation officer Narasimha Reddy said Sridevi suffered minor injuries while the comic suffered severe injuries on his neck.
Sridevi and Mahesh got married in 2022 and often quarreled over his drinking alcohol issue. She called her mother on Monday after Mahesh defeated Sridevi. The comic arrives at the couple’s house, facing Mahesh who attempts to murder Sridevi.
He stabbed her in the marriage problem when the comic tried to stop him. Sridevi drove the comic to a private hospital where she was receiving treatment in the ICU.
Police said Sridevi went to her mother’s house on April 18 but Mahesh returned to her. When she arrived, Mahesh, who was allegedly drunk at the time, asked her to accompany him to meet a friend. When she refused, he allegedly beat her up.
