Security officials said alert units intercepted armed terrorists in an attempt to intercept the side from Jamu on Friday night (April 11, 2025), and an army officer was injured in a gunfight.
Officials said troops guarding the border picked up a movement of terrorists in the Kailibatal region of Aknoll, leading to an encounter.
Officials said the gunfight was taking place at the last report, adding that other reinforcements were blocked throughout the area.
Officials said the injured person was evacuated from the hospital and his condition was considered “stable”.
