My Bharat Initiative begins

Vijayawada:The central government’s My Bharat Initiative has begun, with the goal of recruiting one hundred thousand civil defense volunteers nationwide on the first day of Monday’s initiative.
Against the backdrop of the recent escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan, the League’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has called on young people to rise for the cause of the country across the country, especially in the face of emergencies.
Although people of all ages are welcome to enroll as civil defense volunteers, the focus is mainly on the age group between the ages of 15 and 29, while those over 29 are members.
Those participating in volunteers will receive basic training in rescue, evacuation, first aid, emergency, vehicle traffic management, crowd control, public safety, public safety and other services, and will help local authorities in disaster response and rehabilitation work.
Earlier, the National Disaster Management Agency coordinated with UNICEF to propose an initiative called Apada Mitra, in which young people from rural backgrounds received basic training in dealing with natural disasters, first aid, and even snake bites. Volunteers are affiliated with local authorities to take advantage of their services.
Under my new initiative of Bharat, these trained young people, in addition to new immigrants, receive basic training to help local, regional and state authorities carry out rescue and relief efforts.
“We are getting a good response from youth. They made a great contribution to the city’s civil defense volunteers on the first day of launching My Bharat Initiative,” said S Ramu, a district youth official at Nehru Yuva Kendra.
More and more people are advised to visit my Bharat Portal’https://mybharat.gov.in”s’ to register themselves as a volunteer.
