Mysterious hackers targeting Max and Spencer’s computer systems hinted at political loyalty as they warned other tech criminals not to attack former Soviet states

Hackers who launched devastating attacks on trademarks and Spencer’s computer systems hint at their political loyalty – swearing in an oath to protect the “Former Soviet Union” from the technology used.

Cybercrime group Dragonforce claims to be responsible for the ongoing crash that has caused the retail giant to suspend its clicks and collect services.

The group also acknowledged that it had subsequently attacked the cooperative and said that “personal data such as name and contact information” were obtained from its membership program.

Dragonforce said their job was not to “destroy” but to “just take some money and go away”, with more than 90 victims last year and targeting companies in various industries.

But now, after the group appears to use the Dark Web Forum to threaten to “punish other hackers’ violations”, new motives and loyalty have been revealed, other plans to use its ransomware in Russia or the former Soviet state.

A statement claimed to be from the group, released late last month, read: “Any attack on critical infrastructure by our software, patients, children and elderly people being retained, or hospitals in the former Soviet Union countries are provocative [sic] By immoral companion.

It added: “As regulators, we are doing our best to offset this, we will punish any violations and assist in resolving issues with affected parties.”

Recent attacks have been linked to spiders scattered by infamous English-speaking teenage hackers.

The scattered spiders use hacking tools developed by Russian groups associated with Blackcat and Alphv, which may indicate that business partnerships between the group can share ransom payments.

However, investigators believe that the attacker used Dragonforce’s hacking tool in this case, which treats itself as a “ransomware cartel” to perform the violation.

The gang has previously been linked to major hackers from incapacitated casino giant MGM Resorts International and Caesers Entertainment.

Using a digital attack to eliminate slot machines on MGM and destroy other systems, members raided the customer’s personal details in another incident in Caesers.

Dragonforce’s “white label” ransomware is considered unique, which allows other hackers to use hackers who they can access to the target system.

Observers’ surveillance of the group identified 167 alleged victims in 32 countries, including 87 in the United States, 17 in the United Kingdom, 8 in Australia, 8 in Italy and 5 in Canada.

When commenting on the upcoming statements released by the group, the statement reads “We are not killing people here; a Dragonforce spokesman said: “We are making money here and doing business with companies that have already stained their hands. ”
