NASA SpaceX launches Crew-10 Mission to bring back Sunita Williams at Butch Wilmore | World News

SpaceX and NASA launched the Crew-10 Mission Friday at 7:03 ET, with the Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Dragon spacecraft, bringing our astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore back to the International Space Station (ISS) (ISS), where they were trapped for nine months.
The mission also delivered four new crew members to the ISS, including NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Jaxa (Japan Aeronautical and Space Exploration) astronauts Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos Cosmonaut Kirill Peskov.
The CREW-10 is the 10th crew rotation mission of SpaceX’s human space transport system and the 11th crew flight to ISS through NASA’s commercial crew program, including the Demo-2 Test Flight.
Arrived last June and Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore stayed on ISS for 9 months. Their accommodation only lasted about a week initially.
According to Fox News, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared a video message before the release, expressing support for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10.
In the video posted on X, Hegseth said, “I just want to take the time to say we pray for you.” He added, “We wish you God fast and we look forward to welcoming everyone home as soon as possible.”
