Telangana invites Latin America to invest in manufacturing areas

Hyderabad: IT and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu revealed on Saturday that three international companies, including South Korea, expressed interest in investing in Zaheerabad’s National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ).
At the Operational Conference of India’s Latin American and Caribbean Countries organized by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF), he urged representatives from Latin American and Caribbean countries to encourage their industrialists to invest in Telangana.
He noted that trade policies implemented during the first term of U.S. President Donald Trump, especially during the levy of tariffs on goods from various countries, have unintentionally benefited from India.
“In today’s global context, many industrialists seeking new investment destinations are shifting their attention to India,” the minister said. He predicted that Telangana will play a key role in shaping India’s economic future.
