Earthquake Rocks Southeast Asia: Russian emergency team set off from Moscow to Myanmar after India and China – Economic Times Video

According to Russian Emergency Ministries, a Russian emergency team boarded a plane outside Moscow on March 29 to attack the Myanmar earthquake. The ministry said 120 emergency rescue experts, including the rescue dog team, psychologists and anesthesiologists, boarded the plane at Zhangfsky International Airport. After India and China, Russia joined rescue operations in Myanmar’s earthquake-hit areas. Friday’s 7.7-magnitude earthquake, one of the largest in Southeast Asian countries in the last century, weakened airports, bridges and highways in a civil war that destroyed the economy and was displaced. Foreign rescue teams began flying to Myanmar on Saturday to help find survivors of an earthquake that killed more than 1,000 people in impoverished Southeast Asian countries and in the grinding civil war, critical infrastructure that destroyed critical infrastructure. The junta said on Saturday that the death toll in Myanmar was 1,002, a sharp rise in state media reports from 144 deaths on Friday.
