Ravindra Jadeja begins to make history and will become the first all-around player in IPL history, scoring 3,000 times

CSK’s star all-around player Ravindra Jadeja is ready to make history in the upcoming IPL season. He has been doing well in every aspect of the game and is a valuable asset for every team he plays.
Ravindra Jadeja will occupy his field for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening match of IPL 2025.
Jadeja, who joined CSK in his 12th season, reached a major milestone in the T20 league and is in history. He had the chance to be the first all-around player in IPL history, hitting 3,000 runs and 150 wickets.
Since making his IPL debut with the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2008, Jadeja has scored 2959 runs and 160 wickets in the 240 IPL match. He only has 41 fewer than the coveted 3,000 operating milestones.
Jadeja’s IPL journey began with RR, who was part of a roster led by Shane Warne, winning his first season in the T20 League. Later, he played for IPL in Kochi Tuskeskelala (IPL) in 2011, and then joined CSK during the IPL 2012 mini auction.
After being retained by CSK before the 2014 IPL 2014 auction, Jadeja made a brief stop with Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017 before winning the CSK victory in IPL 2018, where he has been there ever since.
In a notable twist, Ravindra Jadeja was appointed captain of CSK before IPL 2022. Despite facing some obstacles, under his leadership, Huang Jun successfully won 2 of his eight games, which led to MS Dhoni’s mid-season retreating behind.
Jadeja still sticks to CSK even after being released, and he played a crucial role in his fifth IPL championship victory in 2023. Before the IPL 2025 Mega auction, Jadeja was one of the top earners in CSK, sharing Ruturaj Gaikwad with Ruturaj Gaikwad as they all regained Rs 18 at a rate of Rs 18 per person. Meanwhile, Dhoni kept Rs 4 crore in the non-closed category.
