II PUC: Udupi reappears, Udupi

The girls once again outperformed the boys in the 2024-25 II PUC results announced on Tuesday. Although the Udupi region in the coastal region of Karnataka showed its best performance, Kalyana Karnataka’s Yadgir partly aligns with the trend compared to previous years.
This year, girls’ pass percentages are 9.68% higher than boys. A total of 2,69,212 (77.88%) girls were obtained with 1,99,227 (68.20%) boys. Not only the overall pass percentage, even in the rankings this year, girls clearly outperform boys. All those who occupy states in the streams of science, business and art are girls. Even among the top ten students, the girl was caught in the spotlight. In the art stream, all the top ten scorers are girls, in the science stream, eight are girls, and in the commercial stream, seven are girls.
Udupi ranked first, yadgir last
In the regional wise performance, the total pass percentage of Udupi district is 93.90%, followed by 93.57%, 93.57% in Dakshina Kannada, 85.36% in South Bengaluru, 83.84% in Kodagu, and 83.31% in North Bengaluru. Last year, Dakshina Kannada ranked first and Udupi ranked second.
Yadgir region has the lowest score, 48.45% this year, followed by Kalburgi 55.70% and last year in the previous year, Raichur 58.75%, Vijayapura 58.81% and Chitradurga 59.87%.
The highest percentage scorer in language Kannada
This year, a whopping 5414 students received Centum in the Kannada paper, followed by 4038 math students and 2536 Sanskrit students, 2346 biology students, statistics students in 2013 and 1137 students in computer science.
While 1,00,571 students differed (up from 85%), 2,78,054 students received first class (60% to 85%), 70,969 students received second class (50% to 60%), while 18,845 students received passes (35% to 50%).
Special students perform well
Among students with special needs, autism performs the best, with a pass percentage this year at 75.56%. Of the 45 students who took the exam, 34 passed. Together, 186 students with visual impairment, 19-year-old cerebral palsy, 102 students with hearing impairment and 72 students with learning impairment passed the test.
Copy of answers to apply for a scan on the last date of April 13
Students who want to access a copy of the scanned answers must apply on or before April 13. A scanned copy of the answers can be downloaded from April 12 to 16.
The last date for applying for revaluation and outline is April 17. The Department of School Education and Literacy announced that it can use online payment facilities to apply for scanned copies and revaluate fees.
The revaluation and reversal results will be announced on the department website. The decision of the re-principal committee will be final and there is no provision for appeal in this regard.
