NEET Detection: National Medical Council cancels admissions for 14 students, orders to suspend 26

As part of an ongoing investigation into the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case by multiple agencies, the national testing agency identified instances of unfair means and revoked 42 candidates for three years -2024,2025,2026 – without taking NEET-UG.
It also revoked nine candidates at its 2025 and 2026 sessions.
Sources said candidates for candidates who appeared in the NEET-UG 2024 exam had a pause.
Actions against students are initiated based on findings from the Central Bureau of Investigation, which is investigating the case. “Given the severity of these violations and their potential to undermine the credibility of the medical education system, the National Medical Commission has issued directives to relevant medical schools and institutions to immediately suspend the discovery of 26 MBB students with complicity,” the source said. The commission emphasized a “zero tolerance” policy for academic fraud and expressed its commitment to taking all measures to safeguard integrity, transparency and accountability in medical admissions.
The directive is ahead of May 4 NEET-UG 2025 scheduled on May 4.
