Special needs worker Wendy Lau threw a stone, hit the wall early in the morning, and pointed to CCTV cameras at Abigail Beckett’s new house.

The 54-year-old sign language interpreter is said to have persistently “targeted” her neighbors until they have no “no choice” but are moving out of the house they hope to “grow up”.

Ms. Beckett told the judge that she felt they had been expelled by the attorney.

Law admitted that she made noises within 18 months because she was a “neighbor who didn’t consider”, but denied that there was any “malice” behind it.

She claimed that some of the noise was just her drinking tea.

Liu pleaded guilty to a stalking offense involving serious alarm and distress and has now been sentenced to probation at Portsmouth Crown Court in Hampshire.

The judge said Law’s actions had a “deep impact” on Ms. Beckett, adding that it was “totally unreasonable and persistent harassment”.

LAU installed CCTV cameras that point to the house “spy” and she would “continue” to use power tools to generate noise.

It is said that using such tools is “outside acceptable time and inconsistent with Home DIY”.

Mr. Finner said: “The actions of the defendants made it impossible for them to continue to live at the address.

“Starting October 2023, they moved in and lived with Ms. Beckett’s parents.

“Ultimately, they felt they had no choice but to take the sale of their home.”

The court heard Ms. Beckett’s victim impact statement detailing the impact of harassment on her.

She explained: “It will take us a long time to start to understand why Ms. Liu has set goals for us.

‘We bought it [the house] Exciting – This is our first family home together.

“We have been deported from our homes by agents.

“I really want to know what I did, it’s worth the fear she caused to all of us.”

Mr Turner said he thought his family would “until old age” but had no choice but to sell because of the act of labor.

Casey Chard eased, telling the court that Law was “not a bad guy inside.”

Mr Chad said Liu “had not considered the consequences of her actions” and none of them were “malice.”

He told the court that she “just accepts making a sound”, saying it was because she was making a “ginger drink.”

“Her behavior is not about causing inevitable pain,” Chad said.

In short, this is her result [being an] Neighbors are not considered.

Liu pleaded guilty to allegations of serious alarm and distressed stalking.

His Honorary Judge James Newton-Price KC handed Lau for a four-month prison sentence of 12 months.

He said at the hearing: “I think the case involves totally unreasonable and ongoing harassment against neighbors.

“Your behavior has had a profound impact on your neighbors and her family, which has undermined her mental health.

“She has no reason to be intimidated and aimed at you.”

The judge mentioned the “huge cost” that families have to pay to move out of their homes.

He added: “You didn’t have faith before.

“You express your regret, although I do agree with the probation officer that you seem to be able to minimize your actions.”
