Nepalese gangs serve as family helping elderly couples in Hyderabad, 1 kg of gold; police issues attention

Hyderabad's East District Police have issued a surveillance notice for five Nepali nationals allegedly suspected of robbery at Kachiguda's residence.

B. Bala Swamy said the gang had been hired to help domestically, taking drugs to the elderly couple they were working on and fleeing with about 1 kilogram of gold and about 6 million rupees in cash.

According to the official, the defendants – identified as Lokendra Bahadur Shahi, Arpitha, Depender Alias ​​Gajender, Chathurbuj alias Aryan and another unnamed person – Meena Dugar and Hemraj Dugar hired a couple from the 1960s who lived in Kachiguda. Hemraj is said to be a businessman.

“The gang has been working in the family for about a month. On the evening of April 21, they allegedly used their sleeping tablet to smear the couple's dinner. Once the couple fell into a coma, the gang used 1 kg of golden decorations and Rs 6 million to Rs 6 million to Rs 6 million in cash. Arrived, when the incident was revealed, the incident disappeared without a trace.”

Despite searches in parts of Hyderabad and Nepal, the suspects remain untracked.

Investigators believe the gang is still in India. They urged the public to remain vigilant and report if seen. Images and identities of the perpetrator have been released to help pursue.

“All five criminals are Nepali nationals and may cross the Indian border with unidentified accomplices,” a senior official said. Police assured that informants will receive appropriate rewards. Hyderabad police have been urging residents to conduct thorough background checks and police verification before hiring domestic help.
